Music: Sky Rockets in Flight

I prefer to write about the best in music but occasionally I cannot bite my tongue. I refer to the horror of turning on PBS (Best of the 70s?)and seeing a gray haired ensemble performing Afternoon Delight to a swaying appreciative audience. It was bad enough that this song was written and released in the first place, and I might even forgive someone for absentmindedly singing along when it spent its short life on the radio (just might, mind you) but to resurrect this reeking putrescence and drag its flyridden carcass onto a stage, reanimate it, and broadcast it live, well, that’s just a crime against humanity.
