Wolf Parade: Modern World (Victoria)

okay… if you like Wolf Parade you need to check out Spencer Krug’s other gigs… Sunset Rubdown (who I just saw tonight at the Velvet Underground… very excellent) and Swan Lake. Both high quality bands. Then you need to listen to Beirut because they’re awesome, and DeVotchKa because they are also awesome and do a wicked cover of The Velvet Underground’s Venus in Furs with this eastern European sound. Smashing!

I will Nat, thanks. (My header was a little misleading…been listening to Wolf Parade since it came out, and the Diableros has been on my mind for a while, just not that particular tune. Heard Marling on bbc and it seemed cool.
